Last Thursday, the seniors had one so much of an AWESOME DAY!!!
It all started at school. We had had a normal morning, a normal morning tea, and a normal walk-in-and-line-up. But after we did come in, it all changed. We were told to sit down on the mat. Mrs Parkinson started to announce: "Now as everybody should know we are going to have swimming sports! So! I would like you all to tidy up the classroom, do your home learning, duties, and bins. GO!" And amok hit our classroom like a beam from space from a UFO. Kids started to run around saying: "Hurry up _____!" and "Mrs Parkinson, _____ did _____ to ___!"

By the time we had finished, it had taken us about 10 minutes!
But we managed anyways...
We then proceeded to take all of our needed gear and to line outside with the rest of the senior syndicate. Mr Maquad started to talk. "Okay, we are going to go inside the bus, but before we do, let's go through some rules." That was when he started to ask us what we thought could be some good rules. Some were: "Stick together, have fun, don't give up..." And you said it.
We walked onto the bus classes by classes. There was only 1 bus so far, so room 14 and 15 hopped on, and that bus left. The other 2 classes (Rooms 12 and 13) had to hop on the next bus. We walked onto the bus, sat down, and waited to enjoy the ride. Some of us started to sing, others doing finger signs to by passers that were walking past on the footpath. We passed the museum, shops, Garden place, and other places, like the casino, and BTNZ. After about 15 minutes of singing, shouting, screaming, yelling, annoying, and listening to boys yelling the names of the finger signs they were doing, we reached the town pool.
I cannot say it's true name, so I'm just going to call it that. We walked out of the bus, and room 14 and room 15 were already there. Their bus was picking up the previous school, that was before us. We walked towards the entrance gate... And went straight past it! "Where are we going?!" Some of the children started to yell. "You'll see." Said one of the teachers. We were headed to a hill, which was our designation to eat out lunch.
We then started to settle down, and enjoy our lunch. There was noises of munching, and chewing, going all around, and rubbish being thrown all around. When some of us were finished eating, we started to roll down the hill, like little armadillo's. The teachers didn't fancy it though! "Stop!" They yelled. And we were silenced, and frozen. But not for long. We started running down the hill, causing more trouble. "Oi! Stop!" They said. But they kept going. Then they started to just run down the hill.
When we finally finished, we had a short walk back up, and started to settle in. We had to get changed if needed, and sit in our house groups. There were different areas for our house groups, and all my friends were in the same house group as me, and that was awesome.
