In room12 we were asked if we could make a project and back story on our new class mascot, a Sumatran tiger.
We had it as homework throughout the holidays. That way we would have plenty of time to complete it.
My idea for a name was Stripes, because Sumatran tigers have stripes on the fur and body. So if you shaved their coat off, you would still find Stripes.
The most challenging part of making the project was finding some information on the tiger because I do not have the internet, and we do not go the library often.
The easiest part was writing it down :)

I really liked how you got straight into doing your assignment son, it was on your last day of school! I really liked the brainstorming ideas you came up with and you even asked Shyla and I about name ideas so I feel pleased to have been a part of your project. Personally, I think Stripes is a cool name for a Sumatran Tiger. Well done. Mum
